Today, I’ve got a bit of something special for you all. I made a supplement for my mermaid stickers that I’ll be posting for download AND I’m giving you another sticker set FOR FREE.
First, the supplement for the mermaid stickers. I felt like I needed to make a second page for these as I was having trouble using the first page how I like to use my stickers. After I made flags and more easily written on boxes, we were good to go!
I am starting a new series of stickers based entirely on functionality and I have the first set for you today! There’s a lot less in the way of decoration on this set. Based on the response I get from you guys, I can alter that. But, these stickers are designed with maximum usefulness in mind. With that said, here they are!
It’s Tuesday again. Wow, where has September gone? I swear, I blinked at the end of summer and now we’re here. I hope the semester is treating you all well! I know it has me in an absolute daze.
Anywho, today’s spread is another one that is more functional that super creative. I used my mermaid stickers, but since I have A LOT to write on most weekdays, I find myself not using as many stickers that I can’t write on. So, I tried to remedy this by making my stickers both pretty and functional – I may be posting a set next week that I designed specifically with functionality in mind.
Here’s the spread!
My organizational process
Honestly, it all comes down to color coding. I make sure that I’m using the same colors for the same topics that way I can see visually when things need to get done by. After assigning each class or daily event a color, I follow these steps:
Label the sections of my planner. I usually follow this arrangement: “schedule” above the first box, “due today” above the second, and “homework” above the third.
Place my stickers in a tentative arrangement based on how much I think I’ll be needing to write in those boxes.
Rearrange stickers as needed and place in chosen location.
Plan my week.
It’s a fairly simple process. I also tend to do my planning on Thursdays. Thursdays allow me to take a good look at what I have to do before Monday as well as examine what needs to be done during the next week. The fourth weekday is pretty neat like that.
Thank you for reading! I hope my process helps you out with yours. If you’d like to share your planning process in the comments below, I’d love to hear how you all organize your planners!
It’s Wednesday again! This week is moving by so incredibly slowly. When I woke up this morning, I thought it was Friday already. Like, where is my head? To help with these mid-week blues, I have a FREE printable for you all! MERMAID STICKERS!
I love mermaids. I’ve wished I was one since I was very little when I would pretend to be a mermaid while swimming around my parent’s pool. I’m still mildly obsessed with mermaids. I really want to dye my hair that beautiful light blue/green that was in style two summers ago. I’m drawn to pretty much anything mermaid themed. I recently bought a set of makeup brushes that were mermaid themed just because they were mermaid themed and not because I actually needed them. It’s ridiculous.
So, inspired by my obsession, I had to make a sticker set about mermaids. And, I have it here for download today! They’re sized for the BIG Happy Planner but can be printed at 85% to fit smaller Happy Planners.
For today’s Printable Wednesday, I have a spotlight on one of my favorite free printables blogs: Victoria Thatcher.
Victoria makes adorable sticker sets that are sized for The BIG Happy Planner but have directions on how to resize them for smaller planners. Finding stickers that were sized specifically for the planner that I have was super exciting for me since most of the stickers I come across are for smaller Happy Planners or the Erin Condren Life Planner – which are both fantastic planners as well.
I’ve decided to focus on a few of my favorite sticker sets from Victoria’s blog.
I know that I’ve shown this one before, but I really love it. I mean, cats. What isn’t there to love? You can download it here.
Mermaid and Friends
This set is super cute and whimsical. It’s perfect for a weekly spread in the summer! Plus, that whale sticker is my favorite thing ever. Download it here.
I’m a fan of the color scheme in this set as blue and purple are some of my favorite colors. And I like that these stickers aren’t tied down to a time of year so you can use them whenever. Download it here.
I’m kind of a Francophile (no where near the likes of Thomas Jefferson, though) so I really love the idea of visiting France. These stickers are pretty and allow me to daydream about walking down the street and seeing the corner markets and flower shops that I have imagined amidst my wanderlust filled daydreams. Download them here.
For The Love of Books
This set specifically makes me think of my lovely roommate, Olivia. She’s always reading. She also just bought a happy planner that I’ve been printing stickers for. I think she’ll love this set. Download them here.
This is another set that I think Olivia’ll love. We both have a deep love for The Beatles since we started listening to them together in High School. The colorful palette of these stickers definitely fits the Sgt. Pepper era graphics and makes for a fun and bright weekly spread. Download them here.
This is honestly one of my favorite sets of birthday stickers ever. I really love the graphics on this. The cupcakes are adorable and I really love the color scheme she uses and the focus on birthday goodies like cake. Download them here.
Apparently I’m just a huge fan of floral stickers? Even though my favorite color is most definitely not pink, I really love these stickers. They’re simple and versatile while being beautifully designed and colorful. Download them here.
I hope you all like these and are inspired to search through her other wonderful stickers to see what else you can find! Happy planning!
